Help! The medium is rough gas at 460 ℃ and a pressure of 4.15 MPa. Under such circumstances, what kind of local pressure gauge should be used? Is the measuring element in the form of a diaphragm or a regular Bourdon tube? What is the material of the measuring element? 304SS? 304L? 316SS? 316L? Under the same conditions, should a pressure transmitter use a capillary tube or a regular stainless steel pressure guide tube? What is the material of the measuring element?
Install a condenser. The material grade is higher than or equal to that of the process equipment or pipelines.
Use one with a diaphragm, 10 MPa pressure. Any of the materials you mentioned should work, as long as it’s not copper or zinc
For the ordinary Bourdon tube, the material of the measuring element is 316L, and it comes with a condensation coil. Under the same conditions, the pressure transmitter uses ordinary stainless steel pressure transfer tubes, with a measurement range of 0–10 MPa.

I agree with what was said in post 4: some pressure gauge data sheets indicate that the material used is 316L plated with gold (non-diaphragm type, typical for pressure transmitters). Is this done to enable resistance to high temperatures? It’s a bit confusing. If a diaphragm is used and the capillary is filled with high-temperature silicone oil, the maximum temperature tolerance is 300°C; so it seems that this approach won’t work
Hello! What is the purpose of using a condenser? We don’t have any corrosive gases at high temperatures and pressures here
The condenser should be added first to lower the temperature, which will make it easier to choose a pressure gauge; an ordinary one will suffice. The main challenge is selecting the pressure guide pipe; the pressures and temperatures are very high. Its material must be at least as good as that of the process pipelines, and it may even need to be thicker
