Regarding the surface quality of pressure vessels

The company’s container products are often harshly criticized by clients due to their surface quality, which has left the management very annoyed. Due to the small volume of the company’s products and the fact that most of the processing is done by external parties, the scale of these cooperating factories is relatively small; as a result, surface quality cannot be ensured to an adequate standard in accordance with relevant specifications and technical requirements. The management ordered our technical staff to develop regulations regarding the quality grades of product appearance, whereby the quality of a product’s appearance is artificially divided into three grades – A, B, and C – based on factors such as the project and the client. (I think this is unreasonable; it’s products from the same company, yet different requirements are applied. Well, since it’s the management’s order, we have no choice but to comply.) . . ) Grade C means meeting the specifications and the basic requirements of the owner; there’s nothing much to say about that. As for Grades B and A, it’s harder to determine – what standards must be met to qualify as Grade A or B? It comes down to the quality of the welds, the level of rust removal, and the quality of the painting. . . I really don’t know how to write it.
