Our company needs to add a fuel level gauge to the diesel storage tank and make holes in the tank. Could you please give me some guidance on the safety issues that need to be paid attention to?

After I drain the diesel from the storage tank, I pump out the combustible gas inside and check that the combustible gas meets the standards. Do I still need to clean it? Is this step of cleaning necessary?
