It is suggested that the forum change the order in which replies to various posts are displayed. In addition to placing the original post first, the latest replies should be shown at the top, so that users can easily see the most recent replies when viewing them. This would be the best approach, but many forums do not have such a feature; it’s not clear whether it is technically feasible. This only makes it convenient to view post content, but not conducive to communication. If one does not consider the causes, the consequences will not be clear either.
It’s pretty difficult to achieve, right? Did the original poster see such a forum somewhere?
It is technically possible to place the latest posts at the top; at least I know that on NetEase, the latest comments appear first, and it’s likely based on the same principle. However, I think it lacks logical consistency. Personally, I prefer to keep them in order. Of course, that’s fine too – just highlight the key points in the replies
The comments on NetEase are different from the replies on the forums; those comments don’t seem to be related to each other. Don’t forget that this is a technical website, and many posts are connected to each other. Last edited by sister on 2009-4-10 09:10]
