Sure, by installing appropriate protective measures and ensuring regular inspections, there should be no problems. Here, we use iron plates to separate the maintenance tanks from those in use, and we pay attention to monitoring the site; everything should be fine.
Our facility has four liquefied gas tank areas, which store propylene and various types of liquefied gases. The inspection dates for each spherical tank are not the same, which results in operations continuing while maintenance is being carried out. It can be achieved as long as proper safety measures are taken. First and foremost, it is essential to isolate the pipelines connecting the tank under maintenance to the other tanks in use with blind flanges, or to disconnect them directly. Furthermore, a protective layer must be installed around the maintenance sphere tank to prevent sparks from falling within the area of the production sphere tank. Ensure coordination between the production spheres and the spheres used for maintenance, such as avoiding welding during dehydration and sampling processes. Finally, it is necessary to manage the construction workers properly. For example: one must not touch equipment outside the area of the maintenance sphere tank, and safety regulations must be followed in the tank area, etc. As long as proper protective measures are taken, it is entirely possible to carry out maintenance while continuing production.
