The employment situation in the coal chemical industry this year is not very good; last year, most of the students majoring in this field at our school had already found jobs. For several years, many people will remain unemployed. It’s unclear how long the financial crisis will persist, and it’s not known when the coal chemical industry will experience another boom. Last year, companies like Datang, Shenhua, Shanxi Coking Coal, and many other smaller enterprises came here to look for employees. This year, there are basically none of them. I remember that Datang came here to recruit late last year; most of our classmates had already signed contracts by then, and only those who weren’t very good at their studies still had a chance to get a job, haha. So, employment also depends on opportunities.
Whether it’s employment or anything else, there are issues related to opportunities. The economy still needs to reach its bottom.
