I would appreciate some guidance from those with more experience: why is it necessary to use external control for the temperature of the sensitive plate in a distillation column?
The setup is as follows: the temperature of the sensitive plate in the distillation tower needs to be controlled in order to regulate the discharge volume, while the liquid level in the reflux tank is used to control the reflux rate. When the temperature of the sensitive plate is high, reducing the exhaust valve raises the liquid level in the reflux tank; as a result, the control of the liquid level in the reflux tank increases the amount of fluid flowing back ； Conversely, the opposite occurs, thereby achieving temperature control of the sensitive plate. The temperature of the sensitive plate in the distillation tower may need to be controlled by means of external regulation; it isn’t necessary to use this plate for such control. The key factor is the heat distribution within the distillation tower, and other adjustments should be made accordingly
What are the advantages of using efflux control? :)
