The solid content in our oil slurry varies greatly, ranging from over 25 at its highest to less than 2.0 at its lowest. There are significant fluctuations, going directly from values above 25 to those below 2.0. All other reaction parameters remain unchanged, the distillation unit is functioning properly, there are no abnormalities in the equipment, and the catalyst consumption also stays constant. Yet analysis still yields data; there is a lot of sticky material in the oil slurry, making it difficult to determine whether it is catalyst or not. Burn the oil slurry with fire; there’s something that resembles flour, and it doesn’t seem to be a catalyst. Have you come across such a situation?
1. If the catalyst consumption per unit is indeed greater than 25, can it be reduced to 2.0 immediately (within about 2 hours)? The amount of slurry discharged is 7-8 tons, and it is not recycled. 2. Does the slurry scale inhibitor have an impact? 3. Is it related to the raw materials? 4. Is it related to the catalytic properties due to too much fine catalyst powder? 5. Is the feed leg of the centrifuge clogged? 6. Is the steam volume too high? 7. If it is greater than 25, what abnormalities will occur in the device after 8 hours? 8. You didn’t make it clear – the solid content is determined through analysis of oil slurry samples, so why is the topic shifted to the catalyst consumption per unit? It’s necessary to understand the specific conditions of the facility in order to conduct an accurate analysis. My preliminary guess is that there might be a problem with the cyclone separator used in your reaction process; please check whether there are any fluctuations in its outlet pressure drop

In the middle of the regenerator, there is a catalyst analyzer that can analyze changes in the size of catalyst particles. Could the fluctuating solid content of the slurry be caused by unstable flow rates of the slurry back to the tower, as well as unstable operation of the reverse regeneration system, thereby leading to fluctuations in the temperature at the bottom of the tower?
