How to bring one’s college years to a successful conclusion, and how to take the first steps into society, are issues that concern every college graduate who is about to leave campus and enter the real world. After signing employment agreements with their employers and securing a workplace, most students are able to focus on studying seriously as before, in an organized and calm manner. But some students, after signing the agreement, think that work will surely be tough going from now on, and it won’t be as free as it was in school; if they don’t live it up now, it will be too late to regret it ； Some feel that after spending over a decade studying from elementary school to university, they are tired of it all and just want to leave school as soon as possible to start working and making money ； Some miss their college days, are afraid of entering society, and appear lost ； Some other students seem to do nothing all day long and have an impetuous temperament. Generally, there are several months or even over half a year from finding a job to graduating and leaving school. Making full use of this time to improve one’s moral character, strengthen one’s knowledge base, refine one’s knowledge structure, adjust one’s mental state, and prepare for everything before leaving school will help in adapting more quickly to the new working environment. Specifically, how should it be done? First, it is necessary to improve professional knowledge and skill levels. During university, one typically has to take dozens of courses. For various reasons, many students can no longer remember the content of some of these courses, and a few even returned them to the teachers. It is common to see some students be relaxed at the beginning and end of their thesis or graduation project work, failing to make full use of their time and seize opportunities. Some disputes seem insurmountable at the time, but in hindsight they turn out to be nothing serious; therefore, it’s better to resolve conflicts rather than let them persist. Some students who applied to join the party were not approved; they should carefully consider what their strengths are, as well as what problems and shortcomings they still have. One cannot join the Party while still in school, which shows that there is a gap between oneself and being a qualified Party member; only by making continuous efforts can one achieve one’s ideals.
