Does anyone know their craftsmanship? What are the catalyst activity and yield?
It is Unipol’s low-pressure gas-phase fluidized bed process; the activity is around 8,000 kg PE/kg CAT. By yield, you mean the specific consumption of ethylene and hexene, right? That isn’t certain – it is somewhat higher than that of normal grades, mainly due to the capacity limitations of the plant
I’ve been paying attention to metallocenes lately; it seems that only Daqing in China uses them. Are you in Daqing? This post was last edited by leefun on 2009-4-11 at 11:24.]
To be honest, the performance of Maometal produced in Daqing is fine – it’s equivalent to Exxon’s 1018CA. However, domestic manufacturers aren’t yet willing to recognize it; without profits, there’s little incentive for them to produce it. On top of that, the financial crisis has made it uncertain whether production can even continue. Qilu also tried to produce Maometal developed by itself, but the results were not good
Thank you for your advice! “Does “no profit” mean that the price of the product is not competitive compared to imported ones, or is it due to high catalyst costs? Is it still because the market hasn’t opened?
The metallocene catalysts used in Daqing are purchased from Lanzhou Petrochemical.
Can metallocenes be produced domestically now? Should I still buy MAO?
I also want to learn about metallocene polyethylene
I also want to learn about this aspect
The Univation metallocene XCAT HP-100 catalyst was used.
I also want to know if there are any difficulties in process control
