During the installation of storage tanks, a layout plan should be drawn up before the tank bottom plate is prefabricated. How should the layout be arranged? I hope everyone will participate actively in the discussions.
Before arranging the plates, refer to the provisions regarding the prefabrication of the bottom plate in the GB50128-2005 Code for Construction and Acceptance of Vertical Cylindrical Welded Steel Storage Tanks: Article 3.3.1 1. The diameter of the bottom plate arrangement should be increased by 0.1%~0.15% compared to the designed diameter. 2. The minimum dimension of the arc-shaped edge plate in the direction of the bottom plate radius should not be less than 700 mm; the minimum straight-edge dimension of non-arc-shaped edge plates should also not be less than 700 mm. 3. For the butt joints of arc-shaped edge plates, unequal gaps are recommended – the outer gap e1 should be 6~7 mm, while the inner gap e2 should be 8~12 mm; when gas shielded welding is used, the outer gap e1 should be 3~5 mm, and the inner gap e2 should be 6~8 mm. 4. The width of the middle plates should not be less than 1000 mm, and their length should not be less than 2000 mm; the minimum straight-edge dimension of irregular middle plates that are connected to arc-shaped edge plates should also not be less than 700 mm. 5. The distance between any two adjacent welds on the bottom plate should not be less than 300 mm.
