A newly installed ×× brand compressor before the New Year had been in use for no more than 200 hours; last month it experienced frequent shutdowns due to excessively high oil temperature. The oil filter was replaced, the oil cut-off valve was cleaned, and the oil level was at its proper level, yet the problem persisted. The workshop staff, in response to excessively high oil temperatures, repeatedly reset and started the machine for testing, which damaged the screw bit. We had no choice but to spend over 10,000 yuan to send it back to the factory for repair. The machine returned on the 9th, and the manufacturer’s maintenance technicians also came to the factory for follow-up service: they replaced the oil filter and oil separator, filled it with new oil, and cleaned all the oil pipes. Yet the oil temperature remained too high, reaching 90 degrees within 1 minute. Throughout yesterday and today, we worked together with the manufacturer’s technicians to check various things, but the oil temperature was still too high. Finally, the maintenance technician estimated that the gap between the screws inside the main unit was too small and needed to be adjusted. The maintenance supervisor will come to the factory tomorrow to carry out repairs. Has any of you encountered such a troublesome issue?
