There’s a wealth of information available on the selection of general valves, but it’s impossible to find any materials on how to select rubber-lined valves. Could you all tell me: 1. Are rubber-lined valves divided into semi-lined and fully lined types? Is there any difference? 2. Is the manufacturing of rubber-lined valves simply a matter of lining an ordinary valve with a layer of rubber or PTFE? 3. Since rubber fills the interior of rubber-lined valves, what material should be used for the valve body? Can carbon steel be used? Do we really have to use stainless steel?
