May I ask, is it necessary to insert the probe directly into the bearing shell of the compressor to measure its temperature, or can it be done at a slight distance away?
How to measure the temperature of bearing shells when they are not installed on the shaft bearings.

Because the thermal resistance of temperature is high, the installation distance must be as close as possible. If the installation distance is too large, not only is the error significant, but the lag is also considerable.
Just pay attention to the installation location and ensure that the temperature sensing element does not vibrate!
