Please tell me, when I was doing the waste lubricating oil regeneration experiment, I used white clay to decolorize. The used white clay contains oil. I want to recycle this part of the oil. I saw it mentioned in the relevant literature that before recycling the white clay, we must first know the oil content in the waste white clay. I would like to know how this content was measured. After the muffle furnace burns for a few hours, the oil will burn out and the weight loss will be measured.
What kind of equipment is a muffle furnace? It should be used for industrial production. If I am in the laboratory, can I use a crucible for burning? Thank you.
