I’m new to IA and am a bit confused about ICC’s “CHECKPOINT” – what is the process? Could some expert please give me some advice? Thank you! Also, the ICC doesn’t have the concept of lower-level components~ So what about the control program after the CP is powered off and restarted? Grateful!
I’m not entirely familiar with IA either, but it seems to me that the question posed by the original poster is related to the issue of powering down and restarting a CP, and this is probably similar to IT technology. We all know that computers, including those running XP, have operating systems, and these operating systems contain stacks; PLCs also have stacks. Every system can be restarted, and after a restart, a PLC, for example, has a home point – meaning that it starts scanning programs again from that point each time it’s restarted, for instance, starting from address F8000. If there is a RAM with power-saving functionality, then the data can be read back from the interruption points in the stack. I guess it’s something like that; I’m not sure if that’s correct I searched for information online and have attached it below. An Intelligent Agent has the following characteristics: (1) Agency (Agent) ; (2) Intelligence (Intelligent) ; (3) Autonomy ; (4) Mobility.
Checkpoint refers to a backup of the parameters under which the controller’s current program is running. It includes not only all configuration parameters but also the actual values of those parameters that have been modified during operation, such as the PID parameters of the circuits and the manual/automatic mode status. When the CP is powered off and restarted, CheckPoint is used to quickly restore it to the state before the power loss. So configuration backup, as well as CheckPoint, are both very important. Checkpoint method: It seems to be in the CP status screen; I can’t remember exactly, but it should be possible to find it.
