In the back-end system of our company’s 35KV switchyard, we use the Nanjing NARI back-end system; the devices in question are from the NS900 series. The setup involves these devices being connected to the communication management unit NS956 via fiber optics, and from there, the connections are made to computers through switches. However, for a long time, there have been serious communication problems – severe delays in communication, or even no communication at all. Could anyone with expertise please advise me on what the problem might be? I would be extremely grateful!
What is the communication distance? Is 485 or Ethernet used for communication? Is there redundancy in the communication system? Do the communication management units fail frequently? It’s already like this right after it was put into operation, or is it a problem that arose after operation? The fault symptoms you described are not clear.
Take it to the manufacturer for repair; the service attitude is good. The main thing is to prevent employees from playing games on the machines in the back office, etc.
Although Nanjing South Auto Electric is a relatively small company (it is not the same as Guodian South Auto Electric), its products should not be that poor. The problem might lie in interference resistance (especially in chlor-alkali industries where electromagnetic interference is high; if the devices do not have good interference resistance, that could be an issue). It’s more likely that the problem lies in the engineering configuration. Only the manufacturer’s technical staff can figure out what to do. A diagnosis cannot be made without visiting the site.
This question is a bit vague, but I think the main issue lies in the agreement. The manufacturer has to be called in to fix it. By the way, there are probably over a hundred companies in Nanjing that specialize in protection work! :lol
