For manual butterfly valves, they belong to the category of on-off valves, but they also have a certain regulating function. A pneumatic valve can be used for regulation by installing an electrical positioner; without it, it can only be used as a switch. If an electric valve is to be used for regulation, then a regulating type electric actuator needs to be used instead! For butterfly valves, a higher degree of precision in adjusting the opening angle is achieved when the angle is set between 20 degrees and 70 degrees.
