Who knows how the liquefied gas aromatization reactor is heated? With technologies like Nano-forming from Dalian University of Technology, where reactions take place in a fixed-bed at 500–600°C, how is heating achieved?
At such high temperatures, heat transfer oil is not suitable; only open-flame heaters or electric heaters can be used
First, heat exchange with the product takes place, and then it is heated in a furnace; those familiar with oil refining will find this easy to understand!
The aromatization process is exothermic as a whole, so the bed temperature does not represent the furnace outlet temperature. After heat exchange with raw materials and reaction products, the load on the heating furnace is not too high.
At startup, the reactor can first be heated with steam, followed by high-temperature nitrogen; the reaction liquid is then heated in a fuel furnace before being fed into the reactor for reaction.
The exothermic heat of the reaction is fully utilized, and a heat transfer oil furnace is then used for heat compensation, thereby meeting the requirements of the reaction.
The aromatization reaction is exothermic and requires a certain inlet temperature. After several stages of heat exchange, the raw material, once passed through the heating furnace, fully meets the operational requirements.
