Selection of industrial control hardware

There are currently 8 separate testing devices (controlled by OMRON PLCs), and an industrial computer is planned to be used as the upper-level monitoring system; CenturyStar configuration software will be employed. The distance between these devices is 20–30 meters. What hardware is required? Please try to be as detailed as possible

Ordinary cables, Advantech industrial computers, communication boards
A communication cable between the PLC and the host computer is required, as well as a communication card to be installed on the PC or PLC. If the requirements are not high, a commercial PC can be used as the host computer, as it offers good interoperability and is inexpensive.
