Are the parameters provided internally by the Aspen software accurate?
Most of them are accurate... very few are not entirely accurate. However, there is a lot of missing data. If it falls within the error range permitted by engineering standards, it is still acceptable.
There is still a difference; for example, the official version will update the database on a regular basis! This is why the simulations done by some large design institutes are more accurate than those of small companies that use pirated Aspen!
