During the performance testing of pumps, is there a test in which the outlet valve of the pump is closed in order to determine how much the pump’s head pressure increases? It seems that the required increase is around 10% to 20%. In the pump’s data sheet, there is an item titled “head rise to shut off”； The manufacturer provides 2%, while the foreign buyer requires 10%~20%. If the outlet valve of the centrifugal pump is closed, there is no load, so it makes no sense!
