As the title suggests, I’m not sure whether the plate efficiency and plate equivalent height calculated using RateFrac are accurate. I’m using version 11.1; I would appreciate guidance from all of you, thank you
I’ll give it a weak try on my end. Also, I’m asking: why can’t the simulation results I obtained using ratefrac show the board efficiency? Some information in the results isn’t displayed – does changing certain settings are required for it to be shown?

In the RateFrac model, the calculation of mass and heat transfer rates between contacting phases utilizes the correlation equations for transfer coefficients, thermodynamic properties, and transport properties established for that system. The transfer coefficient is a fundamental parameter for calculating the rate; it is determined based on flow conditions, transfer properties, and internal characteristics of the tower. Therefore, the rate model can accurately predict operating conditions without relying on the plant’s operational data.
