As the title suggests: Why are safety accessories installed on pressure vessels at atmospheric pressure?
Safety or lack thereof is not solely related to pressure. For example, level gauges are essential for storage tanks, serving to prevent the tanks from becoming full; but is it also considered a safety issue when the tank is full? This is especially true for toxic and hazardous materials.
Safety protection in abnormal usage conditions. Safety valves are sometimes also installed in low-pressure deaerators.
Our unit’s deaerator is equipped with a safety valve, but it itself is not considered a pressure vessel! Thank you! So how is high pressure distinguished from low pressure in the deaerator?
