Is it better to use coiled tubes or vertical tubes in the radiation section of a tar heating furnace?
The biggest drawback of coiled tubes is that it is difficult to deal with coking in the furnace tubes, while coking in the vertical tubes is easier to handle.

Coils are more convenient; aside from the difficulty in maintenance, we use coils everywhere here. There is no coking at the moment
