There is no money to earn, no power to strive for, no knowledge to learn*, no skills to seek guidance on – everything that is lacking can be created with our own hands. What people lack the most are always just attitude and spirit. Many young people have to experience a great deal of failure and setbacks in their careers. So what exactly is it that they lack? The Death of Entrepreneurial Young People Lately, I keep encountering young people who carry around so-called \"unique\" business plans in an attempt to secure venture capital. Their statements were astonishingly consistent: “Let’s talk about my project to see if there are any areas for improvement.” I have ideas and practical experience; I’m sure I can handle this project – all I need is money! ”Whenever I hear these things, I really feel like saying something, but I can’t find the words. When people strive to work hard and manage their own lives, they constantly complain about lacking funds; they think they could do this or that if only they had the money. But it turned out that even if one had the capital to make the foolish mistake of investing in them, one would lose everything. How could young, full of energy people know that what they lack most is not money but people. In China, it is extremely difficult for startup companies to recruit staff – it’s almost impossible. Just by offering a salary, you can’t recruit people. It’s not the fact that your project is highly promising that will attract people. Those with a little experience are reluctant to leave the backing of large companies. Those without experience also lack basic professional ethics. Many companies fail because of the issue of people. The Death of a Smart Young Man Some people also ask, “I’m the smartest person in the company; why are there always idiots who oppose my opinions?” ” In fact, such employees with a bit of cleverness are malleable, but on the other hand, they are also the most likely to become good-for-nothing. Because their views are often a bit smarter or more advanced than others’, it leads to them being unable to accept other people’s opinions. Anyone who suggests anything that differs from their views is immediately attacked on that basis, without any regard for the feelings of others. Winning makes one feel as proud as a victorious rooster. Such young people fail to realize that every event, every project has multiple possibilities; those who aspire to achieve greatness must have the breadth of mind to accept various different viewpoints. First is trust and respect for those who hold different opinions, and second is developing the ability to think comprehensively. But many young people who are a bit clever die precisely because of this.
The Death of a Young Man Full of Confidence in the Spring Breeze In fact, in China these days, due to the difficulty in finding employees, many companies have lowered their requirements: \"As long as you are dedicated in your work, as long as you think proactively, as long as you can commit yourself fully, as long as you are truly willing to learn!* So, whether you have an education or not, whether you have any skills or not, you can be hired! ”So some young people who seem to have a certain degree of malleability easily gain considerable trust and positions. But that’s how things are in the world: things that seem complicated when discussed are often simple to do, while things that seem simple when discussed are often complicated to carry out. It’s that simple; yet less than one hundredth of one percent of young people in China are able to do it. Young people will never understand how fair this world is; those who run businesses and pursue great achievements are always seeking out talent, providing many opportunities for young people. A company hires a young person not necessarily because that person already knows much, but because it believes the person still has some degree of malleability. But the young people are unaware of this; they don’t realize that their views on various matters and their ability to carry out tasks within a company are still far from being truly competent. They think that just because they are utilized by the company, it proves that they are right and better than others. This is tantamount to treating the leader’s good intentions and promotions as nonsense. On one hand, they think they are great; on the other hand, they regard their erroneous views and naive theories, stemming from an incorrect and childish perspective, as advanced and cutting-edge, believing that they can now achieve great things. As a result, chaos ensued quickly; performance didn’t improve, and they blamed others for being too stupid. In the end, it led to being taken over by the company. Finally, someone asked, “Is there any kind of rule or principle that can serve as a reminder for young professionals in the workplace?” ” In fact, to make progress in their careers, young people only need to do three things. One: If you are under 30, it’s not yet the time when you can support 10 people on your own without leaving your company. Please be sure to believe that all of your opinions are wrong, and that your mindset is still narrow. What you should learn most is to accept that others have different opinions. II: Any so-called creativity is the boldness of the ignorant. Every idea has already been thought of and tried before. The only difference is that those who put in more effort and enthusiasm will be the ones to succeed in the end. So what you lack most is not money, but people who can devote 100% of their effort to working with you. Finding such a person is harder than finding 30 million in investment. Three: Those who stand taller than you can definitely see further than you. What you need is not to try to judge the actions of those in higher positions in a superficial manner, but rather to focus on doing your own work well and to perfection. And take 100% responsibility for everything I do for you. One day, when you reach a senior position, you will realize that the behavior of those in high positions is different from what you thought when you were young.
