Does the moderator no longer have the power to assign scores in other forums? Why don’t I have a rating option in other sections?
That’s right; there should be no restrictions on scoring in your region, as you are a super-vision assistant. The cleaner has already issued the notice – how could the original poster not have received it?
I suggest that moderators should have some authority to rate posts in other sections. For example, I specialize in nitrogen fertilizers, but sometimes I also visit the machinery section; when I need to rate good posts urgently, I’m not able to do so. I hope everyone can discuss this and consider changing these rules
Why is this topic being brought up again? It’s such an old cliché Since early 09, the moderation team has been disabling the scoring feature in other forums aside from this one. Although this makes some moderators feel that their powers are even less than those of ordinary members, the intention of super moderators such as cleaners and administrators is to enable moderators to focus more on managing the sections under their responsibility, thereby avoiding the problem of giving ratings everywhere in order to increase the number of management tasks. ————Anyway, even if it’s possible to rate posts from different categories, those ones that one is interested in or finds good, what real meaning does giving them a certain score actually have? Since the bosses have done this, we shouldn’t cling any longer to this small right that has been “taken away” from us. Just do a good job managing your own section. Be more open-minded. Hehe! ~
