Cobalt salt is an accelerator when curing unsaturated polyester resin. It can decompose MEKP at room temperature and solidify UPR.
The activator can accelerate the decomposition of the initiator and quickly solidify the unsaturated polyester resin at room temperature, which is especially suitable for PE coatings. Good compatibility and dispersion, the amount added in PE coating is 0.4%-0.7% of the resin amount
