The poster's question is also quite broad, so it's not easy to answer. My graduation thesis is about the wastewater from the sewage treatment plant in the Printing and Dyeing Industrial Park. I can give you an overview of the treatment process.: Wastewater treatment adopts a treatment process that combines physical chemistry and biochemistry, strengthens pre-treatment, and adopts advanced pulse water distribution system and efficient gas distribution system to make the wastewater treatment system efficient and energy-saving. Wastewater treatment process: Raw water → rotary screen machine → regulating tank → selective physical and chemical tank → pulse fluidized bed → circulating fluidized bed → secondary sedimentation tank → water outlet → discharge up to standard. Sludge treatment process: Physical and chemical sludge, residual sludge → sludge concentration tank → filter press → dry sludge transportation. My article mainly focuses on the optimal efficiency and improvement methods of selective physicochemical tanks, pulse fluidized beds, and circulating fluidized beds.

Whether it is discharged to meet the standard or recycled and reused, the purpose is different, and the treatment process is also different. But the idea is similar, anaerobic + aerobic + advanced treatment.
Commonly used processes for printing and dyeing wastewater treatment are mainly divided into two categories:: (1) Physicochemical method: A chemical and physical treatment method that uses flocculants and coagulants to perform sedimentation or flotation in a specific structure to remove pollutants in sewage. However, due to the high cost of dosing, incomplete removal of pollutants, large amounts of sludge, and difficulty in further processing, this type of method will produce certain secondary pollution and is generally not used alone, but only as an auxiliary process for biochemical treatment. ; (2) Biochemical method: A treatment method that uses the action of microorganisms to degrade, adsorb and remove organic matter in sewage. Due to its thorough degradation of pollutants, relatively low operating costs, and basically no secondary pollution, it is widely used in printing and dyeing wastewater treatment.
