Due to issues with material storage, it became necessary to increase the size of the storage tank, and since the foundation has already been poured, it is now necessary to modify it. The storage tank is not seated on a foundation.

What the poster means is to add an additional ring-shaped foundation around the existing small foundation; of course, efforts will be made to integrate them together. A few more piles will be needed, and the design institute will take into account how to arrange them. I think the key issue is still foundation settlement.
There should be no problem; increasing the size of the tank inevitably requires expanding the foundation. The original foundation piles have already been installed, and by incorporating cross-shaped hidden beams within the modified foundation slab, this issue should be solvable.

According to pressure testing standards, the value is 2000 T, and the issue lies in the connection between the cross beam placed in the middle and the existing foundation.
