I would like to ask everyone, what software is generally used for steel frame verification? I have a steel frame designed in Catia, and I want to check it using another software! Please help recommend some! Thank you!
PKPM, 3D3S… and other steel structure design software will all work!
Which one of the above is a bit simpler? I’ve never heard of either of them; I’m not in this field.:) Thank you!
PKPM is a complete set of structural design software that can be used for buildings, steel structures, concrete structures, and special structures； 3D3S is a steel structure design software. Each of the two has its own characteristics. We use PKPM. The original poster can search for a detailed introduction online. In fact, there are not just these two; there are many other structural design software programs as well.
