Dear friends, when I turned on the steam turbine yesterday, the vacuum did not meet the requirements and it was not ready for startup. I have checked the water pump, water ejector, and leakage parts. Please leave your comments to resolve the issue.
It is estimated that there is still a leakage location. You can put a circle of butter on the inlet and outlet flanges of the water jet pump (between the two flanges) to form a seal and try again. (As long as the temperature permits, other possible leak locations can also be treated in this way)
If there is air leakage in the system, carefully search for the leakage point of the vacuum system, and check the operation status of the water jet pump, steam seal heater and vacuum breaking door.
There are basically two reasons why the vacuum degree cannot meet the requirements. One is insufficient capacity of the pump, and the other is air leakage in the system! ! !
Are the pump flow and flow rates achieved?
Is the cooling effect not good, or the temperature of the exhaust cylinder is too high and the amount of steam in the extractor is not enough?
Steam turbine low-pressure cylinder---square box---surface condenser--rewater pump, so many welding joints and flanges, have they all been carefully inspected? What is the condition of the vacuum pump? The water seal of the inlet valve and the water seal of the pump must be carefully checked.
Check whether the vacuum steam system is smooth and whether all blind plates have been removed.
Try changing the pressure gauge. One time we had the same problem. The vacuum could not be turned on. After checking for a day, we finally discovered that the pressure gauge was broken. I think similar situations should be the same as repairing a computer. Start with the most basic and simple aspects.
