Why are the pumps used in low-temperature methanol washing set to rotate counterclockwise?

In the Lindlow low-temperature methanol wash unit that was recently inspected, it was found on site that two pumps were operating in a counter-clockwise direction; these were pump P1, the semi-poor methanol pump of T2； The other one is the lean methanol pump. I heard they are all imported from Japan. Do all those Japanese pumps rotate counterclockwise? I’m a bit confused; I wonder what the situation is like where you are? Is it possible that the installation direction of the impeller in the pump body is opposite to the normal one, that is, installed in the reverse direction?
