Under the action of a catalyst, a shift reaction takes place, reducing the CO content in the shifted gas to around 3% on a dry basis
The reasons are: 1. High content of carbon monoxide in the converted exhaust gas； ⒉The temperature control at the medium-pressure inlet is malfunctioning and keeping rising ； ⒊The intermediate pressure outlet thermometer is malfunctioning. Solution: 1. Appropriately increase the reaction temperature in the converter ； ⒉Slightly increase the steam supply. Reduce the carbon monoxide content in the conversion gas, keeping it below 5%. ⒊Check the medium-temperature control valve in conjunction with the instruments to determine if it is malfunctioning, and adjust and lower the medium-temperature control setting. ⒋Contact the instrumentation team to check whether the intermediate pressure outlet thermometer is malfunctioning.
