May I ask what types of heat exchange equipment are used in the mixing reactors used in PVC production? How is such heat exchange equipment controlled? What kinds of heat exchange equipment are required for a 30-cubic-meter reactor? This post was last edited by brainandrain on 2009-4-14 19:59.]
The 48-cubic reactor has a jacket on the outside for cooling water; inside, there are 4 internal cooling tubes filled with circulating water. The circulation water pump uses a mechanical seal, and since a packing seal is not reliable, it needs to be replaced frequently. Controlled by DCS
