When measuring powder or granular material silos, there are various options available: radar or guided wave radar is commonly used； Next is the level switch, or it can be used in conjunction with the aforementioned instruments ； Third, a weighing instrument is used to measure the material level. Each of the three options has its advantages and disadvantages. Please share your opinions and experiences to see if there are any better approaches available.
Using radar or guided wave radar: expensive! The level switch shares the radar; the results should be excellent!
Can ultrasonic waves be used to measure the level of powder? I think it should be okay too.
Ultrasonic or radar methods work fine; the ones I use here are all good, but the key is choosing the right manufacturer. Companies like Miao Sheng Li (now known as Siemens) and Emerson are all excellent
