Why is pressurized return water and non-pressurized return water used in industrial production? What is the reason behind this?
Pressurized return water refers to water returning to a pressurized system； Additional power equipment needs to be installed to achieve this. Pressure-free water addition refers to returning water to a normal-pressure system, which is achieved through gravity flow and the existing residual pressure, without the need for additional power equipment.
It seems to be a problem with the equipment; there is no pressure for the water to flow back, so it cannot return to the cooling tower. For example, the jacket cooling of the electrodes isn’t working properly
The main consideration is to increase the cooling water flow rate, given the existing equipment, in order to reduce the temperature of the process medium and meet the process requirements.
The return water pressure depends on the feed water pressure and pressure drop.
