Reuse of treated wastewater

Are there any other good treatment devices for reclaimed water systems besides reverse osmosis? If there is an investment, how much approximately?

For wastewater treatment, it depends mainly on the quality parameters of the water that need to be treated. Some methods use RO membranes, while others employ physical-chemical coagulation or filters; these choices are related to the quality of the water to be treated and the requirements for the treated water. The reverse osmosis method is used only when the salt content in the raw water is high. Moreover, not all of it can be reused; the backwash water must be discharged externally, and membranes are expensive.
