We had several resin columns with a diameter of 600 mm manufactured by an external contractor; to prevent corrosion, lining was applied inside them. When the equipment arrived, no problems were detected, but during installation bulges were found, forcing us to redo the lining work. I would like to know the standard procedures and acceptance criteria for lining. Could any helpful netizen recommend some standards or books? Thank you.
Gasket standard: HG 21503-93; similar problems have occurred before. The bulge is probably due to air getting mixed in during construction; it can be flattened by heating it with a hair dryer.
