If hot work is involved during maintenance, the concentration of flammable gases must be kept below the safe level of 0.5%. For startup after maintenance, it is sufficient to replace the gas with one having an oxygen content of less than 2%.
I heard it’s around 0.2%, which is a higher requirement than other systems. Mainly, the pipelines are used for transporting acidic gases
