My first impressions of the sea and rivers

I first came across Haichuan at the beginning of April; I remember it was because I was searching for some information on Baidu and came across a link to Haichuan. Following the usual routine: register—log in—download what’s needed—and leave. In a couple of days, I wanted to find some more information, so I searched on Baidu. Before I knew it, I found myself back at HaiChuan. Having visited the same place twice in such a short time, things felt different this time, so I browsed the entire forum in detail. Four words came to mind: surprise and excitement. I didn’t expect there to be so much information and users on it. Unlike most forums, it has a large amount of content as well as users who are online; however, there is a lack of discussions and interaction – people go there just to find information. On HaiChuan, there is communication and discussion everywhere; almost all the questions posted receive answers. For the few questions that go unanswered, the moderators regularly organize discussions with experts to find solutions. I also did some research, and I found that this situation is closely related to Hai Chuan’s wealth acquisition system. But I believe that communication helps solve problems and promotes progress in design. So, from that moment on, I decided to stay in Haichuan and become a local there. When there are problems, I turn to Shanghai Chuan and strive to help others solve them (while also increasing my own wealth, hehe). Undoubtedly, this gives me a sense of belonging and happiness. Life is short; I hope to find like-minded friends at HaiChuan to explore our path as engineers together.

Haha, the original poster just needs to keep working hard. I registered back in 2008 but never really used it; I only started using it last week. The progress is fast – I’m now at level 5 as well. I didn’t know about HaiChuan’s point system before, and I was really surprised once I found out. It seems that points can be earned without any effort on one’s part. I used to love staying up all night, but it was always for playing games. Last week, I stayed up three times without playing any games at all – I spent that time browsing the forum, reading posts, and looking for information. Haha, I was surprised myself to see how much a good forum and good management style can influence people. I hope we can all encourage each other to change from being obsessive downloaders to people who are willing to share, communicate actively, and make progress together
Thank you for the support from Floor 3. I feel the same way; I used to play online games as soon as I got home at night, but these days I just browse forums.
