The vortex flow meter shows an excessively high reading, and the value is really high. Changing several circuit boards didn’t improve the situation – could it be due to poor quality? Please discuss the reasons for the inaccurate measurements of vortex flowmeters

For this flow meter, only one K value needs to be set; the values are set according to the factory defaults, and the other parameters are standard ones that generally do not require modification. The DCS configuration matches the field output signals
1 Is it because no temperature and pressure compensation was performed? 2. In the presence of pulsating flow, it may lead to overestimation of measurements. 3. Check whether the requirements for the front-end straight pipe are met. 4. Is the adjustment valve at the front end opening and closing too quickly, resulting in sudden pressure shocks from the medium? 5. Are there any vibrations in the pipeline and its surroundings? 6. Has the flow range been selected appropriately? Vortex flow meters have a minimum flow requirement. 7. Are there any impurities in the medium, especially those that tend to adsorb onto stainless steel? 8. Check the wiring to see if the shielded wire is grounded. 9. Check the temperature and pressure signals (some meters do not have these functions); if there are issues with these signals, the meter will not give accurate readings.
No voltage regulation compensation was applied, and the error is a bit too large to be acceptable. The actual operating conditions should not differ much from those assumed in the design. Does grounding have a significant impact on the instruments?
