If the operating pressure is lower than the design pressure, will the flow rate indicated by this gauge be higher or lower compared to the actual flow rate? 2. When the operating pressure is 1/2 of the design pressure, is the flow rate indicated in this table higher or lower than the actual flow rate? For example: if the design pressure is P=0.7 MPa, then the actual pressure is P=0.35 MPa
Looking at the principle of rotameters, generally speaking, pressure does not affect the accuracy of metal rotameters. Of course, when the pressure is too high, it is necessary to consider the pressure resistance of the instruments.
It’s impossible to affect the precision! The principle of the rotor is to calculate the flow rate based on its rotational speed. Pressure is not a parameter per se, but generally rotors are connected via flanges or threads, so the pressure rating certainly needs to be taken into careful consideration.
