How to understand primary meters and secondary meters? I often hear it, but I don’t know its exact meaning
Meters that perform on-site measurement and indication are primary meters, while those that display and record the data after transformation are secondary meters
In simple terms, instruments installed at the site are called primary instruments, while those in the control room are called secondary instruments.
The information on the first floor is correct; secondary meters don’t necessarily all need to be installed indoors.
Does the transmitter belong to the primary or secondary side?
Transmitters are generally classified as secondary instruments.
