Hello, gentlemen. I would like to ask a question regarding Honeywell systems – what types of networks are available in the Honeywell TPS system? What endpoints are included in each network? Thank you all
This question shouldn’t be difficult; I don’t have any materials available, so I’ll answer based on memory: lol :lol 1. The main ones are the LCN network and the UCN network. C stands for control, N stands for network, U means universal, and L refers to area or local. 2. LCN is connected to the operation console; HM refers to the history module, which is where the data is stored on hard drives. 3. UCN is connected to the control station; APM stands for the advanced process module, HPM refers to the high-performance process module, LM is not used, and SM is the security module, which relates to ESD. 4. LCN and UCN are connected to each other through NIMs (Network Interface Modules) to enable data exchange and communication. NIM has its own address in both networks.
