For anion exchange resins, cation exchange resins, and mixed-bed resins, does raising the raw water temperature to around 35°C increase the water production rate, or can it reduce the frequency of regeneration? Please give some advice!
Temperature is crucial for the regeneration of anionic resins; especially in winter, raising the temperature of the regeneration solution to around 35 degrees yields excellent results. The regeneration cycle is reduced by 2 to 3 times, or even more, compared to regeneration at normal temperatures. If a domestic resin is used, a temperature of 30 degrees is recommended.
Raising the raw water temperature to around 35°C improves the efficiency of the resin, which in turn allows for a reduced frequency of regeneration.
