I find this thing really amazing; finished products already exist abroad, while research in China has just begun – it’s unclear whether it will be possible to develop one here
I’ve heard of using water to cool bearing housings, but I’ve never heard of using water to lubricate bearings.
It’s nothing special – the bearings of submersible pumps are all water-lubricated.
Axial flow turbines also use water-lubricated bearings.
There are stainless steel underwater bearings, as well as ceramic underwater bearings.
Plastic bearings are lubricated with water.
Impregnated graphite is used for the bearings, while the shaft is nitrided using 38CrMoAlA.
