Recently, many manufacturers have been using the economic crisis to carry out equipment maintenance; we hope that everyone will share their experiences regarding such maintenance as well as summaries of plant startups and shutdowns. And the main issues among them are explained. Let me start by saying this: the maintenance summary has not yet been prepared. In the coking unit, the water injection elbows of the heating furnaces, made of 57*7 carbon steel, were found to have a severe thinning of 3–4 mm after inspection; these elbows were replaced. 2 cracks occurred in the sharp bend elbows of the furnace tubes, which were replaced on-site. Maintenance of continuous reforming unit: 1. Low negative pressure in the recondenser of the condensing turbine; modifications are required； ⒉Modification of the reformation feed filter ； ⒊Upgrade of the benzene extraction system to improve processing capacity ； ⒋The circulating cooling water pump needs to be upgraded and modified.
