I am currently working on a wastewater treatment project. The raw water consists of a mixture of wastewater from chlor-alkali and PVC production processes. According to the water quality reports, the COD level ranges between 200–300 mg/l； The pH value becomes acidic at times and alkaline at other times due to intermittent drainage ； SS is around 300 mg/l ； The chloride content is relatively high, remaining at around 2000 mg/l after mixing ； There are also some sulfides in the water, at around 20 mg/l ； The treatment is required to meet secondary emission standards, and in the future it is also necessary to consider reusing some of this water as make-up water for the circulating cooling water. What are the currently mature processes for treating such water? Please offer some suggestions. Thank you.
I heard that Xinjiang Tianye uses the technology provided by Beijing Zhongke Guoyi Environmental Protection Company; all wastewater is recycled. You can go and ask those people about it
Regarding acidity and alkalinity, can the wastewater be temporarily stored in a tank, mixed with another type of wastewater, and then discharged into the sewage treatment system in order to eliminate fluctuations in its acidity and alkalinity? :)
