Can this software be used to draw a step diagram for the theory plate of distillation?
I’m not quite sure what you want to draw. Try selecting COLUMN and PLOT, then follow the prompts to choose what you need
The theoretical plates should be able to be calculated directly
The poster seems to be looking for a graph related to graph algorithms; I don’t know how to create that either. As a starting point, it might be possible to draw a gas-liquid equilibrium graph first
It is possible to obtain theoretical plates, but what I need is the diagram of the theoretical plates drawn using graphical methods – can this software do that?
The DISTWOD model of this software is solved using the \"graph calculation\" method, which allows for the determination of the required number of theoretical plates. At the same time, using PLOT, it is possible to create phase equilibrium diagrams as well as graphs showing the reflux ratio and the number of theoretical plates, but it is not possible to generate graphs obtained through mathematical calculations. In fact, the DISTWD model is solved by using graph algorithms
